See ya, 1989: Taylor Swift is officially committing to 1993.
The platinum blonde continued her exploration of rock n’ roll fashion on Sunday, nodding to the ’90s grunge scene with a black, cream and red plaid dress with a structured asymmetricawl skirt while out in N.Y.C.
Swift further committed to the throwback vibe with the a pair of chunky, heeled combat boots, a tiny Mark Cross box purse and a leather jacket (not pictured) — plus, of course, that shaggy platinum do and dark wine lip she’s been rocking lately.
Earlier in the day, the “Shake It Off” singer kept it in the same family of patterns with a flannel shirt (yes, that’s right: the Taylor Swift in flannel), ripped denim (yep, Taylor Swift wore ripped jeans) and a pair of crisp white Keds.
The 26-year-old’s new, edgier look is courtesy of Vogue head honcho Anna Wintour, herself — with whom Swift will co-chair the Met Gala on Monday.
The fashion overhaul — which was launched with Swift’s hair makeover and Vogue May 2016 cover — has also included a see-through black jumpsuit, a sequin minidress and a camouflage jacket.
It’s safe to say the Oxfords and cardigan-wearing Swift is a thing of the past.
