Meg is not the only celebrity that has been switching homes over and over again. However, hers seems to become a habit, or we could say a hobby since her new luxurious home in a Converted Manhattan industry building is the ninth house she has bought and redecorated. Her son has this question he always asks his mother after she buys a home, “You have Me-ganized it?”
But don’t get me wrong, I’m not criticizing her because she knows how to handle the decoration, but nine? Anyway, her new house is in New York City, and she got it at $9.4 million
Before we go in, let’s tackle the issue why most celebrities prefer this place, of course besides the fact that it is luxuriously made and furnished. The reason is they can go unnoticed by the paparazzi since the building has a hidden motor court through which they can leave or enter the building without being spotted.
The house spreads across 3, 155 Sq. Ft unit and it has three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms. The massive combination of living room and dining room has a fireplace to come in handy during the winter season. The living room also features four sky tall south-facing windows that allow in the natural light.
The house has an open-space kitchen, and it is open to the main living room. It has a walnut-stained white oak cabinet with all the fancy culinary bells you could ever think of. In the middle of the kitchen is an extensive double island with integrated snack bar.
Between the foyer and the bedroom area is a long zig-zag hall. Talking of the bedroom, there are three of them, fully furnished with a bathroom. Beside every bathroom, there is an overlook view of the beautiful landscape of the courtyard.
In the master suite is a walk-in closet, and as if that’s not enough, it also has another wall of closet. The bathroom in the master suite is windowless, and the unique wall accent of book matched marble. One of the two guest bedrooms also has a walk-in closet.
The building also has an indoor swimming pool and a fully equipped fitness center which has full locker rooms separately for men and women, both of which are for residents only. It also has a roof terrace that is 5000 Sq. Ft. and landscaped.
The building imposes other charges, meant for services like the doormen, an advanced security apparatus and concierge and valet. All these services amount to $3, 768 per month, imposed on every resident.
Some of the celebrities who have also found this building a place they can call home and actually lived there are Justin Timberlake, Jennifer Lawrence of “X-men,” Ryan Renolds among others.
