Among the wealthiest A-list women artists, Mariah Carey tops or is at least among the top ten. However, unlike her career, she seems to be having a hard time making a final decision on where to live, and therefore she has been switching luxurious homes for the last few years. Recently, she moved into an eight-bedroom mansion built in a 12, 000Sq Ft land.
The price, however, seems way too cheap for a house in Beverly Hills, with the kind of features this house has. Mariah Carey is not the first celebrity to rent this house, Nicki Minaj and even Meek Mill once rented it.
Let’s look at the remarkable features that would leave you wondering why it was rented out at such a price.
The general color scheme of the house in neutral, and it is decorated in minimalist style. On one acre of the land is a pad which is surrounded by rolling lawns and woodland and that has a humongous swimming pool and a plunge pool. Additionally, it also has a spa.
The floor in one of the living rooms is made of shiny wood which can probably give an accurate reflection of you. It also has a traditional fireplace and, just like in the entire property, the living room is surrounded by arched loggias which are meant to let in natural light.
The other living room also has a fireplace and the arched loggias, but its floor is made of marble. If you are looking to make any changes to your own fireplace, you may want to check out Pier 1.
Not far from the living room is a big library, spacious enough to accommodate all that Mariah Carey wants in there and to provide her with a silent and peaceful place to write her songs.
The reasonably big eat-in kitchen features a fireplace, an island, and a breakfast area. The shimmering metal appliances are ones to die for, and so is the sleek white cupboard which gives the kitchen a somewhat modern look.
All the way from the hallway to the ceiling is a grand white staircase, grand enough to provide major entrance.
The master bedroom has its private terrace and two bathrooms. One of the bathrooms, the main one, has a stand-alone bathtub and a wide enough window, not far from the bathtub, presenting a free air view. Another bathroom also has a bathtub of the same sleekness, though it is not a stand-alone and it has a jet bath.
The extensive roof terrace provides more outdoor space and a breath-taking view.
The property also has a gated driveway, big enough to accommodate a handful of vehicles, and it runs all the way to a 5-vehicles capacity garage.
Other features about this property not discussed extensively are the built-in barbecue and a separate guesthouse that has a separate entrance and a terrace.
It is quite evident how beautiful and magnificent the house is, Mariah Carey must love living in it.
