As soon as we saw Katy Perry hit the stage for her touching Grammys performance, we noticed her hair wasn’t purple anymore. We also noticed that it looked like she was wearing Solange’s ivory, caped wedding gown.
The singer’s stage outfit gave us fashion flashbacks to the Humberto Leon for Kenzo design Solange wore at New Orleans wedding last November. The only difference seems to be the higher neckline on Perry’s dress.

After a high-energy, prop-filled Super Bowl performance, Perry had minimalistic, raw performance on the Grammys stage, singing her her moving ballad “By the Grace of God.”
“It’s an honor to collaborate with Katy in this way. She has been very devoted to various aspects of female empowerment,” domestic violence survivor Brooke Axtel (who introduced Perry with her story at Sunday’s show) told PEOPLE of the performance. “It’s going to bring a lot of encouragement and freedom to those who hear my story and know that they are not alone in this.”
