Have you ever wondered how it is like to be a celebrity? Well, if you are not really a star, you will never really be able to find out. How about just a taste of it? You read that right – you can now get to live in a celeb’s home – that is, if you have enough cash to pay for it.

Television talk show host Ellen DeGeneres recently made one of her properties available for the taking – at least to those who can afford it of course. Her palatial villa in Southern California can be yours for the price of 45 million US dollars.

According to People Magazine, the talk show host has lived in here together with her partner Portia De Rossi since year 2012. The asking price is almost double its initial price at the time of her purchase. Ellen bought the 10,500 square foot property for 26.5 million dollars. Now, you might be wondering what’s the reason behind the steep price. It seems that Ellen also bought some additional properties that are adjacent to the home. All in all, the whole property now covers almost 17 acres of space.  Reports did not exactly mention anything about furniture but hey, it’s a celebrity home so you might be able to see some cool coffee tables in there.

Or maybe not. According to Ellen DeGeneres, the house is neither tidy nor overly manicured. She does not consider this to be precious or perfect. However, she does claim that it’s always surprising and that it has a tendency to reveal itself in new ways every single day. Instead of a luxury home, she describes this as rather being spacious and cozy.

Ellen had been in the business of investing in real estate. She likes to buy and renovate properties in Southern California and then put these up for sale.

Don’t have enough cash to buy this celebrity home? Why purchase it when you can easily revamp your own home with the use of furniture like adding cool coffee tables such as the ones you see at ATGStores.com?
